Day 1, Douro Valley
We begin this wonderful tour in the stunning Douro Region. The Douro Valley is most famous for its wineries and wine production, primarily for Port; the sweet wine that has been made in the region for over 2,000 years. Today will visit one of the most prestigious wineries in the region. This is a truly sensorial experience, visiting the history and wine tradition of the Douro Wine Valley. Discover the aromas and the unique characteristics of this terroir in a unique event: a private guided visit to the Wine Cellar and Wine Museum with a Wine Educator, followed by an exclusive Lunch in the Winery Restaurant. Enjoy the “3 Moments” gourmet menu from Chef André Carvalho's team, in harmony with the winemaker’s suggestion of wines. On the way back towards Porto you will stop at charming Douro villages such as Pinhão and Amarante. (You will stay overnight in Porto).
Day 2, Guimarães & Braga
Guimarães & Braga are two beautiful Portuguese cities situated in the Minho Region, just outside of Porto. Considered the birthplace of Portugal it was here where Portugal´s first king, Alfonso Henriques, was born in Guimarães. You will visit Guimarães Castle and the Ducal Palace. Wander the historic streets and enjoy a regional dish for lunch. Then onto Braga, where you will stop at Braga Cathedral and the amazing Sanctuary of Bom Jesus. Marvel at the wonderful views over Braga from the summit. (You will stay overnight in Porto).
Day 3, Porto
On the slopes above the Douro Estuary, Porto is a historic merchant city. The charming centre is a World Heritage site, and you’ll be struck by how rich and varied this heritage can be. To start the day you will enjoy a guided walking tour with a certified guide, through the historical centre to visit the most prestigious Porto landmarks, such as Clérigos Tower and São Bento Station. This walking tour will be followed by a relaxing river cruise of the Six Bridges. Listen to the tales of the skipper as you admire the stunning views. Next you will enjoy lunch at a high-end Porto restaurant with a view. For the afternoon take a visit to a renowned Port Wine Cellar for a guided tour and tasting. You will finish this perfect day with a visit to a local artisan, such as a jewellery maker or ceramicist. (You will stay overnight in Porto).  
Day 4, Fatima & Tomar
Fatima is a captivating place where millions of people gather each year. Pilgrims celebrate the divine apparitions of the Virgin Mary viewed by the shepherd children which took place in 1917. You will visit the Fatima pilgrimage sites which draw huge crowds from all over the world. The complex includes the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Museum of the Shrine of Fatima. Journey back in time and discover the history of the Knights Templar Order in Portugal. It is a charming and unique town, located in the center of the country, and surrounded by forests, fields, and other beautiful rural towns. You will end the day at the imposing Order of Christ and the awesome and vast complex of Convent of Christ. Both the castle and convent were the headquarters of the Knights Templar until 1314 and of the Order of Christ from 1357 onwards. (You will stay overnight in Lisbon).
Day 5, Lisbon Wine Region & Ericeira
The Alenquer region was inhabited very early on, so here vine growing is ancient, dating back to the times of Roman occupation. It is here you will visit the exquisite Quinta de Chocapalha. In a guided experience you will have the opportunity to visit the winery, the barrel room and to taste the wines alongside regional charcuterie. At Quinta do Gradil  you will discover one of the oldest wine estates in the Lisbon region. Visits to the estate and viticulture process start in the vineyards, go through the cellar and end up at the tasting room and wine shop. Here you will enjoy a light meal with a tasting of wines. At the end of this memorable wine experiencs you will explore the coastal location of Ericeira: a charming Portuguese village, with traditional whitewashed houses. Day 6, Sintra, Cabo da Roca & Cascais
Experience the mystical and magnificent in the beautiful Sintra Natural Park: a place Lord Byron described as his ´glorious Eden.´ Your certified tour guide will be waiting for you. Together you will visit the stunning Pena Palace and unique house Quinta da Regaleira, before heading into charming Sintra village for lunch. Taste Sintra´s famous pillow shaped pastry `Travesseiro.´After you will head to the coast on a driving tour of the national park, to Cabo da Roca (Europe's most westerly point), the breathtaking beaches of Guincho before entering the pretty fishing town of Cascais. Walk through the pretty tiled streets and relax on the small beach at the bay. (You will stay overnight in Lisbon).
Day 7, Sesimbra, Arrabida & Winery
Sesimbra is a typical pretty, Portuguese fishing village. Discover the history of the village at Sesimbra Castle and the Maritime Museum of Sesimbra. Driving through the beautiful Arrabida mountains you stop to admire the momentous views. Visit a secluded beach of great beauty for lunch and time to relax on the beach. To end this memorable day you will visit a renowned Arrabida Winery for a guided tour and wine tasting with charcuterie. A special day of making memories in a beautiful, unspoilt region. Day 8, Lisbon
To begin this fantastic day, your chauffeur will be waiting for you at the hotel. Explore the district of Belem with a certified tour guide, where you will visit the magnificent Jeronimos Monastery, Discoveries Monument and Belem Tower and taste the Pasteis de Nata from world famous, Pasteis de Belem. In downtown Lisbon you pause for lunch at a high-end restaurant, before your chauffeur takes you to some of Lisbon's finest historical shops for some artisanal shopping. End the day with a leisurely wander through one of Lisbon's best museums such as the National Tile Museum or meet a local artisan at their workshop or studio. (You will stay overnight in Lisbon).
Payment -  A deposit of 500€ is required when booking this tour. For any bookings made within 30 days of the tour commencing, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking. Cancellation - A 500€ deposit is payable upfront. This is non-refundable and covers costs of ticket purchases, reservations and itineraries. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to trip commencing. Cancellations within 30 days of the tour commencing are non-refundable.
