Day 1, Arrive in Porto: Luxury Hotel, Spa, Relax, Gourmet Dinner
Your professional chauffeur will be waiting for you at Porto airport. You will head straight to a stunning, 5 star boutique hotel. At this luxury hotel in the centre of Porto, everything is done to create an exceptional stay. After check in, embark on a journey for the senses at the hotel´s, Le Spa Nuxe; the first Nuxe spa in Portugal. Immerse yourself in the mesmerising tones of the indoor pool, relax in the sauna and hammam and enjoy a Le Monumental Signature Massage. For dinner, discover the talent and excellence of starred Chef Julien Montbabut's cuisine at gourmet restaurant, Le Monumental. Indulge in a delicious journey, where French know-how enhances the delights of Portuguese traditional dishes. Here you will enjoy a 14 step gourmet menu, with wine pairing.

Day 2, Porto: Tour of Historic Centre, Lunch with a View, Port Cellar Private Tour, WOW Museums
To start this wonderful day, you will enjoy a tour with a certified guide of the historical centre of Porto. See the most prestigious landmarks, such as Clérigos Tower, Lello´s Bookstore and São Bento Station, then enjoy some artisanal, luxury shopping. For lunch you have reservations at a wonderful restaurant which enjoys a spectacular location and atmospheric setting in the grounds of a Port Cellar, with magnificent views across the Douro River to the old historic centre of Porto. It offers a contemporary interpretation of traditional cuisine, where the accent is on fresh local ingredients and on showcasing the authentic flavours of Portugal. After lunch you will enjoy a private, guided tour of the Port Cellars. Enjoy an exhibition on the Port and tastings, including iconic Port wines, Chip Dry – Extra Dry White and Late Bottled Vintage (LBV), invented in the 1930’s and 1970’s respectively. Your next destination is the WOW Museums. WOW pays homage to the region and shines a light on the most important Portuguese industries and traditions. Choose from seven museum experiences. We highly recommend the Fashion & Fabric Museum and the Chocolate Story. Dinner reservations can be made on your request and your chauffeur will be available for you in the evening.

Day 3, Porto: Bolsa Palace, Lunch, Artisan Workshop, Relax
For todays luxury journey through Porto, your chauffeur will be waiting for you at the hotel. You begin the day with a private tour of the magnificent Bolsa Palace. Bolsa Palace, is a wonderful, neoclassical style palace from the 19th century, that was built by the city's Commercial Association. Some of the rooms are very impressive, especially the Arab Room, which took 18 years to complete. For lunch you have reservations at DOP. Occupying an historic building, DOP restaurant boasts contemporary dining rooms on two floors where guests can enjoy high - quality, traditional cooking and a superb cellar of Portuguese and international wines. The menu is cheerful, colorful and fragrant. The suggestions are fluid and include a wide variety of fish and seafood, as well as more traditional meats, soups and pastas. After lunch you will enjoy a private tour and workshop at a jewellery house. Filigree is a delicate and carefully crafted jewellry. You will take a tour of the museum, where you will explore the unique collection of Portuguese filigree pieces, then visit the atelier where artisans, not machines, are keeping this art alive and finally the shop, where you can buy a work of art. The workshop experience is where the art of filigree comes to life and clients are able to engage with the artists. Dinner reservations can be made on your request and your chauffeur will be available for you in the evening.

Day 4, Quinta Hotel & Winery: Private Tour & Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, Relax
Today you will check in at one of the most luxurious and prestigious wineries in Douro. Enjoy a truly sensorial experience, amongst the history and wine tradition of the Douro Wine Valley. For your luxury Portugal wine day, you will discover the aromas and the unique characteristics of this terroir in a unique event: a private guided visit to the Wine Cellar and Wine Museum with a Wine Educator, followed by a gourmet lunch in Terraçu´s Winery Restaurant. Enjoy the “3 Moments” gourmet menu from Chef André Carvalho's team, in harmony with the winemaker’s suggestion of wines. For the afternoon relax at the winery hotel and enjoy the views! For dinner, you have reservations at Bomfim 1896 with Pedro Lemos in Pinhao. Inspired by memories and aromas of the family kitchen, this restaurant is inspired by traditional Douro family kitchens, centred around large chimneys and wood-fired ovens. After dinner, your chauffeur will return you to your hotel.

Day 5, Douro Valley: Winery Tour & Tasting, Vintage Riverboat Cruise with Lunch
This morning you will visit another stunning Douro winery, on a spectacular property in the Douro Valley.  Written references regarding this magnificent vineyard can be traced back to 1759. Enjoying a prominent position on the left bank of the Douro river, in Pinhão, the estate covers the entire hillside facing the Douro river and occupies part of the slopes of the right bank of the tributary Torto river. You will enjoy a private guided tour of the wine estate: the vines, mediterranian forests and gardens, alongside the people who work them. The tour finishes at the wine shop for a tasting of the top wines (White, Tinta Francisca, Touriga Nacional & Vinhas Velhas), paired with a platter of local cheeses and charcuterie, finishing with a glass of Port. For the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing private river cruise, navigating upstream to a picturesque and quiet stretch of the Douro River. Admire the terraces up to the river and the centenary buildings of vineyard farms, in a unique landscape considered World Heritage by UNESCO. At midday you board for welcome drinks before the private, four hour charming cruise begins. Travel between Rogue and Valeira´s locks as you enjoy lunch served on board, with wine pairing. A wonderful experience you will never forget. Dinner reservations can be made on your request and your chauffeur will be available for you in the evening.

Day 6, Douro Valley: One Final Winery Experience, Journey to Airport
After checking out of Quinta Nova, you will begin to head back towards Porto. You will stop to visit one final, prestigious winery. Enjoy a private guided tour and tasting, followed by a wonderful lunch with a view, coming Douro flavours and dishes with an exceptional range of wines or old vintages. After lunch, your chauffeur will head towards either Porto airport or your Porto hotel. And so ends this wonderful tour of Porto and Douro which you will hold in your heart for a lifetime.
Payment - A 25% deposit is required when booking this luxury tour. Final balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. For any bookings made within 60 days of the tour commencing, the full tour amount will be charged. Payment methods - We accept all credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) and wire transfers. Cancellation - A 25% deposit is payable on confirmation of tour. This is non-refundable. Cancellations within 30 days of the tour commencing are non-refundable.
