To begin your wonderful day your tour guide will be waiting for you at your accommodation. Barcelos is home to the legend of the Rooster of Barcelos, which inspired the colourful ceramic rooster you see in gift shops across the country. Visit the pottery museum, Museu do Olaria, and the archeological museum, Museu Arqueológico, and soak up local living with a wander around the historic centre.

Ponte de Lima
Ponte de Lima is a charming riverside village, considered the countries oldest. There is a distinctive, medieval bridge that plays music and lights up, both day and night. A must-see. This village is the perfect place for a riverside walk, relaxing lunch and a taste of the local wine, Vinho Verde.

Viana do Castelo
Enjoy walking the flower-lined streets and discover the ´hanging-umbrellas´ alleyway. Admire the iconic Santa Luzia church, perched on a hilltop and discover the blue Portuguese azulejo tiles in Igreja da Misericórdia (Misericórdia Church). End the day at the most beautiful beach in the Minho region, Praia do Cabedelo, and watch the sun go down over the ocean.
