Visit the religious site of Fatima and a city founded by the Knights Templar, Tomar.
Fatima is a captivating place where millions of people gather each year to celebrate the divine apparitions of the Virgin Mary. It was here that three little shepherd children reported seeing a luminous lady they believed to be Mary and which ended in a miracle witnessed by thousands of people. Then we move on to the 12th century Knights Templar city of Tomar. This is where after the Order of Christ took over from the Knight’s Templar many of the Portuguese voyages in the Age of Discovery were planned
